Summary
Built in 2012, St George’s Park is home to England’s national football teams (men, women and age groups). The site is set within 330 acres of Staffordshire countryside, and has 14 elite outdoor pitches, including an exact replica of the Wembley surface, a full-sized indoor 3G and a futsal arena. Physical preparation and sport science are integral to the National Football Centre with state-of-the-art performance and recovery facilities providing the ultimate training and rehabilitation hub. Book an experience visit for your team or group and be put through your paces like an England player.
The estates team at St George’s Park is focused on protecting and developing natural habitats within the park. By converting existing grassed areas to planted areas including everything from creation of new wildlife habitats, bug hotels, bird and bat boxes, and new wildflower meadows throughout the site, plant and animal life at St George’s Park continues to grow and diversify. In partnership with the National Forest and as part of the Changing Landscape Scheme, more than 4,000 trees are being planted during 2023 and their woodland management plan covers all woodland and veteran trees over the estate.
